Volunteer with Us!

Volunteering is an important aspect of supporting your child's school. To volunteer on campus  you must be volunteer trained. This is a school district policy and is necessary if you want to volunteer on any DVUSD campus and field trips. 

Volunteer Guidelines

• Everyone must coordinate with a teacher, classroom coordinator, or the PTSO before showing up to volunteer.
• All volunteers must sign in and out at the front office, this is for safety.​

Volunteering Ideas

• The PTSO has many volunteer opportunities that can be done from home. This can include creating a sign-up genius, contacting businesses for donations, managing our website, participating as a social media coordinator, and so much more!
• Ask your student's teacher how you can offer support.
• Donate supplies! Many teachers request classroom supplies throughout the year.
